Chiropractic medicine

Chiropractic was developed over 100 years ago in the United States. This alternative healing technique seeks to restore physical health and well-being through manipulation of the spine. It is also believed that this manipulation frees the flow of energy in our bodies, allowing us to access our innate intelligence and a spiritual awareness.

Chiropractors work generally with the spine, manipulating it gently to restore freedom of motion. Once balance is restored, the body can begin to heal itself.

The adjustments can be very mild, as with the non-force technique. For stubborn cases that do not respond to conventional treatment, chiropractors may attempt adjustments under general anesthesia.

Whichever technique is chosen, chiropractic has proven to be an effective medical treatment. By opening the energy flow of the body, health and well-being is restored. Chiropractic also works to restore strength to the joints of the spine, and to relieve pain in those with long-term conditions.
