Do you know who you are? Or what your life’s “Will” is? Most Americans are so engaged by America’s consumer culture, so obsessed with money and materialism―their jobs, cars, bodies, houses, clothes―that they’ve lost sight. Like a species with amnesia. Has it occurred to you that the process by which you’ve come to know who you are is being manipulated by a villainous Elite? That you and everyone you know are the victims of a self-perpetuating, unconscious form of brainwashing, created by a world totalitarian government based on money? And that this is all much more dangerous than you think?
I lived and worked in NYC in my teens, twenties and thirties.
I was born in NYC and I went to college in NYC. I get when
people talk about the energy of NYC. But I also see the
wisdom in this quote. For me, NYC (like all of
America’s big cities) is a double-edged sword.
Years ago, I saw the movie My Dinner With Andre.
One scene (shown below) struck a chord, especially the idea that New York City is a self-made prison:
There are many good points here.
But perhaps the most compelling is the idea that we Americans are now living in an Orwellian nightmare―and we have been for several decades.
The problem is we don’t realize it.
AMERICA’S ORWELLIAN NIGHTMARE
“OK. Yes, we’re bored! We’re all bored now! But has it ever occurred to you…that the process that creates this boredom that we see in the world now may very well be a self-perpetuating, unconscious form of brain-washing, created by a world totalitarian government based on money? And that all of this is much more dangerous than one thinks?
I met this man…a Swedish physicist, Gustav Björnstrand. And he told me that he no longer watches television, he doesn’t read newspapers and he doesn’t read magazines. He’s completely cut them out of his life, because he really does feel that WE’RE LIVING IN SOME KIND OF ORWELLIAN NIGHTMARE NOW, and that everything that you hear now contributes to turning you into a robot!
And when I was at Findhorn I met this extraordinary English tree expert…He said, “I think that New York is the new model for the new concentration camp, where the camp has been built by the inmates themselves, and the inmates are the guards, and they have this pride in this thing that they’ve built—they’ve built their own prison—and so they exist in a state of schizophrenia where they are both guards and prisoners. And as a result they no longer have—having been lobotomized—the capacity to leave the prison they’ve made or even to see it as a prison.”
And then he went into his pocket, and he took out a seed for a tree, and he said, “This is a pine tree.” And he put it in my hand. And he said, “Escape before it’s too late.”
—Wallace Shawn, My Dinner With Andre
Most Americans don’t see America as a prison—though that’s exactly what it’s become for 99% of them.
This idea may strike you as strange, but it’s not new.
“The illusion of freedom will continue as long as it’s profitable to continue the illusion. At the point where the illusion becomes too expensive to maintain, they will just take down the scenery, they will pull back the curtains, they will move the tables and chairs out of the way and you will see the brick wall at the back of the theater.”
―Frank Zappa (1940 – 1993)
We think we’ve grown up “naturally” and we think we’re free because for our entire lives we’ve been “told” we’re free―but in reality the complete opposite is correct.
We’ve been “socially engineered” from behind the scenes to accept a life of enslavement, and so we are not free at all.
“Social engineering is a discipline in social science that refers to efforts to influence popular attitudes and social behaviors on a large scale, whether by governments, media, or private groups.”
Because of this “social engineering,” we are anything but free.
“Black Friday” — a fitting term.
(The Friday following Thanksgiving Day, often regarded
as the beginning of the Christmas shopping season.)
In a sense, this makes American society…and indeed our entire lives…an Orwellian nightmare from which we are unable to awaken, let alone escape.
“Orwellian” is an adjective describing the situation, idea, or societal condition that George Orwell identified as being destructive to the welfare of a free and open society. It connotes an attitude and a brutal policy of draconian control by propaganda, surveillance, misinformation, denial of truth, and manipulation of the past…”
This Orwellian nightmare is based on the idea that we Americans―men and women, young and old, black and white, rich and poor―are all fundamentally asleep.
Like sheep in a field, we’ve been brainwashed.
(i.e., brainwashed from an early age by the big corporations, their mass media, their criminal friends in government and on Wall Street, all of it run by the same wealthy group of families, the same “Elite 1%”―Rothschild, Guggenheim, Rockefeller, etc―who own all the global corporations, run the world’s most powerful governments, and monopolize a majority of the world’s wealth and natural resources.)
As a result, we’re not able to listen to, follow, or even hear our own inner voice―that still small voice at the center of ourselves telling us who we are and what our life’s true “Will” is.
We’ve been force-fed so many lies and so much propaganda for so many years that most of us have died a little each day.
Yet we don’t realize it.
We’ve died so much that we don’t even know who we are anymore.
In fact, so much of us has died that we’re now merely a shadow of the greatness that we were as children.
How else can you explain the sad dystopia that America has become?
- DOCTORS pushing a health care system they KNOW makes us more sick?
- LAWYERS participating in a legal system they KNOW perverts justice?
- TEACHERS teaching curriculums they KNOW aren’t healthy for students?
- JOURNALISTS reporting stories they KNOW are filled with lies and half-truths?
- SCIENTISTS working for pharmaceutical companies they KNOW put profits over health?
- POLITICIANS engaging in a political system they KNOW does not have our best interest at heart?
Would children do this?
But adults do it every day.
“Just look at us. Everything is backwards, everything is upside down. Doctors destroy health, lawyers destroy justice, psychiatrists destroy minds, scientists destroy truth, major media destroys information, religions destroy spirituality and governments destroy freedom.”
Here are SEVEN WAYS America has become a dystopian Orwellian nightmare, and you its victim:
The good news is you can change it right now.
You can use your ability to see America’s Orwellian nightmare as a way to escape from it and awaken to who you really are.
You do this simply by discovering one important thing about yourself: What your true Will is.
Then, once you discover it, you live it out.
In other words, try to understand what you want out of life, what makes you happy, why you are here―then make a sudden, daring, dramatic plan to get there.
That’s when the magic starts.
It all begins by you throwing off your old self―because this old self may not be the real you.
It may be a “false” self…a false you…that’s been engineered by hidden interests; a convenient mask you’re wearing because you’ve never been able to know who you really are deep inside; a covering you’ve put over yourself because you’re confused, misguided, and you’re now too afraid to see the real you.
Let me explain this better by starting with #1:
Earlier generations of Americans (raised in the 40s, 50s 60s) talk about the “Dumbing Down” of American education, as if it only “recently” started happening in the past few decades:
But the dumbing down is not just something that’s happening now; it has always been happening―and it’s happened to you.
You have been dumbed down, too.
Dumbed down ever since you started attending school.
Today it’s worse than ever, with America’s new Common Core curriculum (Google it).
But American education has always been base; always been more about teaching children what to think, not how to think for themselves; more about conditioning children to fill needed roles in society, rather than imparting life wisdom; more about teaching children to follow a rigid daily “school” schedule, to get them used to a rigid daily “work” schedule as adults.
In essence, American children are trained to become the opposite of a natural and spontaneous FREE and independent thinker―what they were born to be.
In order to help you awaken to your true Self, and remember what your life’s Will (purpose) is, you need to try to cure yourself.
The remedy is…
Question everything you were taught in school―even school itself.
Do you really need to work Monday through Friday and sometimes Saturday, 8 am to 6 pm, in order to live in this world?
―Or is this being controlled from “behind the scenes” by a villainous Elite (i.e., the so-called 1%)?
Do you really live in a cause and effect world, where your actions alone dictate your destiny?
―Or is there a magical element that the ancients knew about, but now being suppressed from your view?
Has man really evolved from apes?
―Or could we have descended from the gods?
Has human civilization naturally progressed from Neanderthal to Caveman to Space Traveler?
―Or are we rising up again after a catastrophe that destroyed a highly-sophisticated Golden Age civilization (what the ancients called “Atlantis”) that flourished in remote prehistory?
And is the deep wisdom of this ancestral “lost civilization” still visible and discernible in the ancient ruins of the first “known” cultures?
Are the “lower” animals “beneath” us?
―Or are they, in fact, our brothers in spirit, or perhaps even our superiors?
There are a million questions like this. You need to “un-learn” everything you’ve ever had to learn.
Only in this way can you objectively see things for what they really are.
Analyze everything, use your mind, your heart, your soul, and figure out if the things you’re doing in life today you are in fact doing because they are contributing to your well-being and your pursuit of happiness.
It may very well be that your actions today are not making you happy; you’re just doing them because you’ve been brainwashed to believe you need to do them; you “need the money” or “need to climb the ladder.”
Ask yourself: If “money didn’t matter” then would you still be living the life you’re living now? If not, then maybe you should start thinking of creative ways to change your situation.
By creative ways, I mean:
- Moving To Another Country
- Dropping Off The Grid
- Canceling Your Credit Cards And Moving Out Of The City And Closer To Nature
- Buying (Or Building) A House With 2 Other People/Families And Dividing It Up To Lower (Or Eliminate) Your Rent/Mortgage Payments
- Volunteering To Work With Needy Children In Another Country
- Starting Your Own Company
- Starting Your Own Revolution
Think about what makes you happy. Then make a no-nonsense plan to get there.
That’s when the magic starts to happen.
It may not happen exactly like you plan, but things will change for sure.
This is not New Age mumbo jumbo; it’s ancient and indigenous wisdom―wisdom once known to all the great cultures of times past, from one side of the world to the other:
Life goes by fast so if you’re not doing it today, then you’re just not doing it. Period.
Let’s continue now with #2, and the American media/propaganda machine.
The American media…
It’s a system that purposely distorts the truth, brainwashes the masses, and poisons our minds and the minds of our children with all the “news” they report.
The mass media has wreaked havoc by pumping so much fear and toxicity into America society and into the world at large it’s stunning.
What most people don’t realize is that the mass media is an extension of the giant multinational corporations that run America and the world.
Otherwise said, the mass media is the “propaganda arm” of the fascist collusion between the American government (Western governments in general) and the big corporations who have long since bought that government.
“The so-called mainstream media is no longer the media. It doesn’t tell you anything. It’s a propaganda ministry – the Ministry of Propaganda.”
―Paul Craig Roberts, Assistant Secretary of the Treasury in the Reagan Administration
The manipulation of the media under the sway of business interests has been going on for a lot longer than most people realize.
This is no “New World Order,” like the conspiracy theorists say.
It’s an “Old World Order,” and it was harshly revealed in a statement by John Swainton, Chief of Staff of The New York Times close to 150 years ago.
“There is not one of you who would dare to write his honest opinion,” he reprimanded his colleagues at a dinner thrown for journalists back in 1880:
“The business of a journalist now is to destroy the truth, to lie outright, to pervert, to vilify, fall at the feet of Mammon and sell himself for his daily bread. We are tools, vessels of rich men behind the scenes, we are jumping jacks. They pull the strings; we dance. Our talents, our possibilities and our lives are the properties of these men. We are intellectual prostitutes.”
—John Swinton, contributor to The New York Times, 1880
The remedy is:
Notice I didn’t say “Stop watching the news” or “Stop reading newspapers.”
In the video from My Dinner With Andre (presented earlier) the fictional Swedish physicist, Gustav Bjornstrand, “stopped” reading magazines and newspapers.
I did that too, for years. Stopped watching the news. Stopped reading newspapers. It was therapeutic…for a while.
But I seek truth, and I find truth by drilling down beneath what the mass media is “telling us” to believe.
For example―and this is just a random flow of ideas―the mass media has been trying very hard to persuade us to:
- Hate Muslims (even though SO MANY are hard-working, humble, family-oriented people)
- Fear Young Black Men (even though SO MANY are caring, loving souls―even many rappers)
- Equate Buying A Car With Freedom (think about this next time you see everyone’s sour puss driving to work on Monday morning―in their cool new cars)
- Use The Word “Cool” And Try To Be “Cool” (which helps sell all kinds of products like cars, sunglasses, skin cream, workout equipment, clothes, and so on)
- Become More Aggressive And Violent (the easier to “sell” us on America’s imperialist wars)
- Work More So We Can Pay More Taxes To Our Overlords In Government (while simultaneously paying less attention to the narrowing of American freedoms, the increasing militarization of our police, the dramatic rise in surveillance of all kinds, and the piece-by-piece dismantling of our constitutional and human rights)
I stay tuned in to the mass media because I want to know their agenda so I can protect myself and my family against it.
For you to understand this (corporate) agenda, you need to continue to watch FOX NEWS…continue to visit CNN.com… and MSNBC…but in a way that you see through the propaganda they’re preaching.
Don’t watch the news, study the news.
Only in this way will you gain―by understanding what it is they are trying to indoctrinate you into and seeing through it, in order to fight against it.
Watch the news! Read the newspapers!
While you’re doing it, ask yourself:
- What are they trying to manipulate me to believe in? To Feel? To think?
- What are they trying to get me to act on? Vote for? Buy?
When you lose touch with the enemy, you lose touch with the disinformation and misinformation they’re pushing.
Let’s move on now to the next form of control, #3.
The Music industry…
All three work together like a symphony, orchestrating to create a certain type of “you”―not the real you, but a fake, pre-packaged, pre-manufactured you; not the “wheel-rolling-out-of-its-own-center-you,” as the 19th century German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche put it (Google it) but a you that’s been contrived through fear and manipulation; not the “Willful” person who is living a life based on what your true “Will” is, but a you that may even be diametrically opposed to this real, true inner you.
All young people watch TV, listen to music, and go see movies, right?
Of course. It’s no wonder, then, why these are the three main “programming” tools that are being used to indoctrinate the youth.
These three systems of social engineering have created slaves of most Americans, from the time they’re very young.
THE MUSIC INDUSTRY
Take the music industry.
They put out a character/archetype for kids to follow and emulate.
Not just one, but different kinds of characters.
Rather than showing an example of one such archetype, we’ll show the “follower” of this archetype:
Like this young man:
Is he true to himself? Unique to who he really is inside? Or is he wearing a mask he saw advertised on some CD or video? Hasn’t he now bought that mask and put it on?―As easily as we buy and wear a pair of shoes? And doesn’t that mask tell him how to behave, how to speak, how to act, how to think, and so on?
A similar, and earlier, example was the Madonna craze of the 1980s, when millions of young girls around the world dressed and began acting like Madonna:
Weren’t these young women wearing a similar kind of mask? A mask created in order to fuel the enslavement of our youth, and get them to buy into our culture of consumption? Our culture of “cool” and “young” and “hip”?
The question is, why don’t our youth feel confident and young and hip and strong without these mass media fueled archetypes?
THE HOLLYWOOD MOVIE INDUSTRY
The movie industry is another example.
Part of their role has been to “desensitize” us Americans to violence so that we accept the imperialist wars of unprovoked aggression that the American government is guilty of starting (the most recent being Libya, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Afghanistan, Ukraine).
Aren’t you amazed at how callous, uncaring and unfeeling so many Americans are? Towards each other, towards their children, and towards the victims of America’s wars?
The only way this can be possible is that we’ve been “socially engineered” to be this way.
A big way this social engineering―this desensitizing to violence―is being accomplished is through violence in movies:
America’s most famous actors, all carrying guns. Where do (you think) kids
learn to bring a gun to school and shoot others?
And it’s not just America’s most famous “male” actors who are teaching violence.
Female actors (once known as “actresses”) are also playing a part:
Female involvement in crime is growing dramatically, especially during the
past decade (Google it). Could this be because female film heroines
are “teaching” our young women violence?
The dramatic rise in school shootings in the past decades is perhaps the most powerful―and distressing―evidence that something’s gone tragically wrong with America; the most disturbing proof that we’re being “taught” to be violent, for reasons few understand.
This screen-shot from stoptheshootings.org reports 387 school
shootings since 1992. Our kids deserve better! We can do better!
Where do kids get the idea of shooting others?
Not from school. They learn it from somewhere else then bring it to school.
Where do they learn it? The answer is, they learn it from the movies…
And from video games, many of which are steeped in plots and tasks to kill as many people as possible.
Video game players are getting younger and younger, with 7 out of 10 children playing games with a “Mature” rating.
The same can be said for television.
TV has become increasingly and unbelievably violent in the past decades.
But teaching kids to shoot and kill is not the “sole job” of “TV Programming” (programming in the sense of “human conditioning”).
The chief job of TV programming/conditioning is mass mind-control in general.
In fact, one of the easiest-to-see examples of mass mind-control in our so-called free and civilized society is the advent and usage of the television set.
This is the modern slave, how much of it is you?
Not all TV programs are geared towards brainwashing you.
But most of the programming is run by the largest media corporations, and they absolutely positively have a hidden agenda.
“The dumbing down …occurs in the brain when we watch television. Activity in the higher brain regions (such as the neo-cortex) is diminished, while activity in the lower brain regions (such as the limbic system) increases. The latter, commonly referred to as the reptile brain, is associated with more primitive mental functions, such as the “fight or flight” response. The reptile brain is unable to distinguish between reality and the simulated reality of television. To the reptile brain, if it looks real, it is real. Thus, though we know on a conscious level it is “only a film,” on a conscious level we do not―the heart beats faster, for instance, while we watch a suspenseful scene. Similarly, we know the commercial is trying to manipulate us, but on an unconscious level the commercial nonetheless succeeds in, say, making us feel inadequate until we buy whatever thing is being advertised―and the effect is all the more powerful because it is unconscious, operating on the deepest level of human response. The reptile brain makes it possible for us to survive as biological beings, but it also leaves us vulnerable to the manipulations of television programmers. This is where the manipulators use our own emotions as strings to control us. The distortions and directions we are being moved to are taking place in the subconscious, often undetected.”
―Alex Ansary, Mass Mind Control Through Network Television
Television is designed to make us feel negative emotions and feelings, such as:
To keep you out of touch with who you really are (the inner Self) and to keep you from knowing what your true Will is.
The Elite don’t want you to “know who you are” and they don’t want you to “know your true Will” because then you won’t feel inferior; and if you don’t feel inferior the chances of your needing to “buy into” the Elite’s culture of fear and consumption (and aggression) is minimized.
In essence, the more power you gain, the more they lose control/money/power over you.
The way to conquer this is simple:
Don’t be a TV / Movie / Music industry tool or slave.
Don’t follow what the movies, television and the music industry tells you.
Look inside yourself instead and find out what your true Will is.
There, in your Will, you will discover a source of power (within yourself) that’s more powerful than a million suns:
Find out who you are and why you’re here.
This is nothing new.
In fact, it’s the meaning of life…according to most of the great Shamans, Philosophers, Prophets, and Religious Leaders of times past…to remember who you are, and why you’re here.
There have long been “arcane fraternal Orders” and “ancient mystical systems” and “age-old esoteric institutions” that specialize in teaching individuals to look inward and find truth.
These Orders were founded (originally) to help you discover what your life’s Will is.
The age-old Order of Freemasonry is one of them (―though today Freemasonry has been hijacked and is no longer an authentic vehicle of spiritual development).
The famous 20th century occultist Aleister Crowley has become well-known in recent decades for founding a kind of Freemasonic mystical system, called “Thelema,” which specializes in helping an initiate find his/her “True Will”:
“True Will is a term found within the mystical system of Thelema, a religion founded in 1904 with Aleister Crowley’s writing of The Book of the Law. It is defined at times as a person’s grand destiny in life, and at other times as a moment to moment path of action that operates in perfect harmony with Nature. This Will does not spring from conscious intent, but from the interplay between the deepest Self and the entire Universe. Thelemites in touch with their True Will are said to have eliminated or bypassed their false desires, conflicts, and habits, and accessed their connection with the divine. Theoretically, at this point, the Thelemite acts in alignment with Nature, just as a stream flows downhill, with neither resistance nor “lust of result”.
True “Will” does not mean “do what you want” and do it “whenever you want.”
These are false desires of the lower animal self (lowercase “s”) in which you are now incarnate in.
It’s hard to say what your true “Will” is because it changes for each person.
But if you look around you’ll find indicators giving you an inclination of how you should spend your life:
You know you’ve found your True Will when you become what Nietzsche called a “wheel rolling out of its own center” (Google it).
If Nietzsche is a bit too esoteric for you, perhaps the phrase “Follow Your Bliss” is easier to understand and digest.
It was coined by the 20th century American mythologist Joseph Campbell, who believed that we find our true Will simply by doing the things we want most in life.
Let’s move on now to Way #4:.
Mention “slavery” and most Americans conjure up 18th century images of African American men, bound in shackles, forced to work on plantations to support rich, fat, white plantation owners smoking cigars.
That image, while based in reality, has also been drilled into our minds on purpose―so that we have a clear understanding of “slavery” as something that “once happened” to some poor unfortunate people long, long ago.
Lucky for us those days are gone―or are they?
We’re supposed to believe they’re gone.
Unfortunately, today most of us are slaves―blacks, whites, hispanics, almost everyone; only we don’t know it because we can’t recognize it; and we can’t recognize it because our idea of “enslavement” (the chains, the plantations, etc.) does not match our present predicament, which is a more subtle form of enslavement.
“Slavery was never abolished, it was only extended to include all the colors.”
We’re all slaves first of all through forced taxation; we pay taxes to people we’d like to see locked up in jail.
Money is stolen from our incomes without our agreeing to it, and regardless of whether or not we approve of how the money is spent.
You know the old saying: “The only two certainties in life are death and taxes.”
Guess who came up with that twisted ruthless slogan and put it into your consciousness? The Federal Reserve Bank, a private institution.
They made it up and pushed it into the American vocabulary because they want to reinforce their stranglehold on the American worker.
Another indication of our financial enslavement is the gross number of hours we “slave” or “work” just to have enough money to “get by.”
Americans work 40+ or 50+ or 60+ hours a week only to find they are so drained at the end of each day that many don’t want to do anything except watch TV.
Come Saturday, the mood lifts, the inmates are temporarily released from their cages. But soon Sunday afternoon creeps in, and with it the realization that it’s back to prison on Monday morning.
In essence, you are an economic slave for 5 days (6 days for many people) to the corporations, in exchange for 1 or 2 days of freedom for yourself.
And what do you do on those 1 or 2 days? All the bill-paying, shopping, and necessities you didn’t have time for during the week. Or just simply recharging your batteries so you can go back to being a slave to the big corporations who enslaved you in the first place.
Is this a life? Chasing money, making money, and focusing our lives all around money…until we die?
Man is the only animal who “pays” to live on the Earth. And these days he pays with his entire life!
Of course, some work is important, because we need to survive.
However, so many people lose the best years of their lives doing things they hate just because they think they need to earn money:
Enter credit cards and bank loans.
Thanks to these tools of enslavement, most Americans are in debt―whether it’s an auto loan, mortgage loan, credit card debt or student loan―and this can be likened to a prison within a prison.
Debt is a national epidemic. Yet rather than discourage reckless and frivolous spending, and rather than advise people not to buy what they can’t afford, the banks and big corporations and news agencies only encourage Americans to seek out more loans and apply for more credit cards.
BUY NOW!!! PAY LATER!!!! (with interest)
It’s just like the Mafia, only the banks and credit card companies have the law and the government protecting them.
- DRIVE THAT NEW CAR NOW!
- ENJOY TAT FLAT SCREEN TV NOW!
- GET THOSE NEW APPLIANCES NOW!
- BE THE ENVY OF YOUR FRIENDS, FAMILY, NEIGHBORS!
- NOW YOU CAN BE HAPPY!
Unfortunately, it’s not true.
Money doesn’t make you happy, and neither does making people jealous of you.
Happiness makes you happy. So does freedom.
With this in mind, here’s a good solution to the economic enslavement we all suffer from:
“Forget your lust, for the rich man’s gold.
All that you need, is in your soul”
―Lynyrd Skynyrd, Simple Man
“You are a divine being. You matter, you count. You come from realms of unimaginable power and light, and you will return to those realms.”
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.”
Tell these quotes to a Wall Street stock broker and they’ll break out in laughter.
They’re simply unable to grasp this ancient wisdom because they’ve been fully taken in by modern society―hook, line and sinker.
Not only that, they’ll “need” to ridicule you because they’re unable to sense this deep wisdom within themselves and the “ridicule” is necessary because they need to make fun of something they don’t understand.
The trouble is, even people who feel this deep connection still, at one time or another, feel the fear, the worry. Doubt creeps in―maybe a lost job or a sudden unexpected financial setback hits―and you feel trapped or powerless.
The trick here is to always remember that the world is a magical place.
Just immerse yourself in Nature for a day (enjoy the sky, the clouds, the sea, a forest, the animals) and keep telling yourself:
“I’ll survive. Everything will turn out OK. It always does.”
Keep this poem in mind:
Ask yourself this:
“If there was no such thing as money, then what would I be doing with my life?”
This will give you an idea of what your life’s purpose―your “Will”―is.
It’s easier than you may think to live on less money than we believe we need―you just need to be willing to go against the grain to realize it.
Don’t buy what you can’t afford. Limit credit card use. Try not to give in to the consumption cycle. Consumerism, debt slavery, wage slavery―all go hand in hand.
Decide how much power you will let them have over you. Remember, once you borrow money―from a bank, credit card company, loan shark, or whatever―you’re theirs.
Don’t succumb to the “Buy Now, Pay Later” mentality. Sure, it continues to be legal for the debt masters to enslave us. But that doesn’t mean you have to be caught in it.
You can get physically sick from money problems; indeed most people do at one time or another.
Of course, this is a big score for anyone in the business of “curing” sick people―or at least claiming to cure sick people.
Enter the billion dollar Pharmaceutical Market, and our friends at Merck, Pfizer, and the rest…
“Big Pharma”―that’s the nickname given to the pharmaceutical industry by anyone awake enough to understand the poisons they are pushing on us and our children.
This industry wields tremendous power, political might, and social influence over the nation’s governments and agencies, its health care systems, its doctors and hospitals, as well as the psyche of the American people.
If you haven’t realized yet that America has become a nation of druggies, then you’ve not been paying attention.
Seniors are being drugged for nearly every symptom a doctor can find. Children are being doped up with (legalized) speed. Middle-aged soccer moms are popping suicide pills (antidepressants).
In fact, nearly half of all Americans now use prescription drugs on a regular basis according to a CDC report that was just released.
Nearly a third of Americans use two or more drugs, and more than one in ten use five or more prescription drugs regularly.
The report also revealed that one in five children are being regularly given prescription drugs, and nine out of ten seniors are on drugs.
This is unbelievable.
Not surprisingly, with the help of staggering profits and 1,100-plus paid lobbyists, the industry has gained powerful leverage on Capitol Hill.
From 1998 to 2013, Big Pharma spent nearly $2.7 billion on lobbying expenses—more than any other industry.
And since 1990, individuals, lobbyists and political action committees affiliated with the industry have doled out $150 million in campaign contributions.
The world’s 11 largest drug companies (more than half of which are headquartered in the U.S.) made a net profit of $711.4 billion from 2003 to 2012.
Interestingly, the large amount of cash Big Pharma bestows on government representatives and regulatory bodies is small when compared with the billions it spends each year on direct-to-consumer advertising.
In 2012, the industry invested nearly $3.5 billion into marketing drugs on the Internet, TV, radio and other outlets.
That number is staggering.
Clearly, prescription drugs and devices manufactured by these companies bring in billions in profits. The trouble is, these drugs and devices often leave consumers with serious adverse side effects.
Just look at the lawsuits brought against the top 10 pharmaceutical companies:
- JOHNSON & JOHNSON
- ABBOT LABORATORIES/ABBVIE
- BAYER HEALTHCARE
Let’s start with Pfizer:
“In 2009, Pfizer faced both criminal and civil allegations over illegal marketing of drugs like Bextra, Geodon, Zyvox, Lyrica, Neurontin, Detrol and Lipitor. Pfizer was accused of telling doctors that certain drugs could be used for unapproved uses, and defrauding the Medicaid program. The case ended with Pfizer agreeing to a $2.3 billion settlement and a five-year integrity agreement with the Department of Health and Human Services.
Additionally, Pfizer is responsible for selling drugs that can have serious side effects. For example, Effexor, the best-selling antidepressant of 2007 that was used by 17.2 million people that year, and Zoloft, an antidepressant used by 35.7 million people in 2011, have led to birth defects when taken during pregnancy. As a result, many families have sued the pharmaceutical giant.”
Another major pharmaceutical company with legal troubles is Johnson & Johnson:
“Ethicon, a subsidiary of J&J, makes sutures and other surgical items, including vaginal mesh implants like Gynecare Prosima, Gynecare TVT Secure and Gynecare Prolift. These products were designed to treat pelvic organ prolapse and stress urinary incontinence, but instead Ethicon is facing more than 1,800 lawsuits over the products, after patients suffered from organ perforation, mesh erosion or other complications.
DePuy, another J&J subsidiary, also sold faulty products. DePuy’s ASR and Pinnacle hip implants contain metal components that can release metal debris into patients. More than 12,000 patients have sued DePuy over its hip implants, and J&J has set aside $1 billion to cover the ASR recall and hip lawsuits.
J&J is expected to be involved in litigation again soon – this time over its blood thinner, Xarelto. Xarelto is similar to another blood thinner, Pradaxa, which is associated with bleeding accidents and heart problems. Since there is no way to control bleeding in patients taking Xarelto or Pradaxa, even minor accidents can be life threatening. Pradaxa lawsuits are mounting, and Xarelto lawsuits could follow.”
Let’s move on to GlaxoSmithKline:
“GSK’s once-popular diabetes pill, Avandia, is linked to an increased risk of heart attack, stroke and heart failure. The FDA estimates that the drug is responsible for 100,000 heart attacks and severely restricted use of the drug. Glaxo has settled an estimated 50,000 Avandia lawsuits so far.
GSK faced scandal once again when certain drugs, including Paxil and Wellbutrin (antidepressants) and Advair (for asthma), were marketed illegally . The court held GSK responsible for marketing the antidepressants and asthma drug for unapproved uses and also hiding the side effects of Avandia. The case ended in July 2012 with GSK pleading guilty and paying a $3 billion fine – the largest health care fraud settlement to date. Paxil is also associated with serious side effects like birth defects and suicidality.”
Next on the list is Merck:
“Merck & Co. sells a vast array of products, including Claritin, Dr. Scholl’s products, vaccines, antibiotics, blood pressure drugs, heart drugs and Vioxx, a painkiller.
Vioxx brought scandal to the company, as thousands of users reported instances of cardiac side effects, including fatal outcomes. Tens of thousands of lawsuits targeted Merck. The company paid out billions of dollars in settlements.
Merck also faces litigation for Fosamax (to prevent bone loss), Januvia (for type 2 diabetes), NuvaRing (a birth control ring) and Propecia (to prevent male baldness). Using these products has resulted in devastating side effects for thousands of consumers. The Food and Drug Administration has spent time updating safety labels to communicate these dangers, and many people have filed lawsuits against Merck.”
Now, let’s talk about Bayer HealthCare:
“BHC is responsible for pharmaceuticals, diagnostic imaging, and popular over-the-counter medications and supplements like aspirin, Aleve, Alka-Seltzer and One A Day vitamins.:
BHC is also known for its focus on women’s health needs, including its popular birth control pills Yaz and Yasmin and its IUDs Mirena and Skyla. Unfortunately, these products have been linked to serious, life-threatening side effects. The FDA warns that the hormone used in Yaz and Yasmin significantly increases the risk of dangerous blood clots. Mirena can lead to problems like device migration or expulsion, pelvic inflammatory disease and ectopic pregnancy.
Bayer has already spent an estimated $1 billion settling 4,800 Yaz lawsuits over blood clot-related injuries. Bayer faces thousands more lawsuits and has reserved $1.5 billion for settlements. Mirena lawsuits blame Bayer for intentionally selling a defective product. They also claim the company’s advertising misled consumers by exaggerating the benefits and inadequately warning of its risks—something the FDA has warned Bayer about.
Bayer’s blood thinner, Xarelto, could become a liability for the company in the future. Xarelto is similar to Pradaxa, which has been blamed for hundreds of deaths related to uncontrolled bleeding. Xarelto could lead to similar injuries, and lawsuits are expected to follow.”
Critics contend that Big Pharma uses manipulative, ubiquitous and expensive advertising to sway lawmakers, the FDA and the public, which in turn spurs on hypochondria and raises consumers’ health fears.
The American public is not the only sector of society influenced by Big Pharma’s techniques. Doctors, scientists and research organizations, medical journals, teaching hospitals and university medical schools all exhibit disturbing conflicts of interest between their publicly stated missions and their financial and ideological subservience to Big Pharma.
Doctors are still some of the most trusted people in our society. They study for many years, take an oath to “do no harm” and vow to depend only on accepted medical science to guide and support their professional conduct and decisions they make on behalf of patients.
But doctors complete some of their expert research with funds from Big Pharma. Private charities and foundations account for a mere 5 percent of the estimated $100 billion spent on biomedical research in the United States each year; pharmaceutical and medical device companies contribute approximately 67 percent.
Big Pharma also has a track record of hiring former government workers with valuable connections to gain political clout.

Big Pharma appears less interested in the health of the American public than it is in fulfilling its fiduciary responsibility to its shareholders.
And because Big Pharma’s influence is so extensive, and self-interest is the motive of its giant network, the well-being of society is in serious jeopardy.
So what’s the solution to this legalized drug epidemic that’s sweeping American society?
The answer is pretty simple: Don’t take pharmaceutical drugs. Ever.
You don’t become healthier taking pharmaceutical drugs. They don’t cure you and they don’t prevent disease.
They may not kill you outright, because drug companies don’t want you dead or they would lose a customer. But these drug companies certainly don’t want you healthy, either, for the same reason.
It makes the most business sense for Big Pharma to keep you in a state of ongoing disease, without curing your condition, while draining you financially.
And this is exactly what they do.
If pharmaceuticals really worked to make people healthy, then the half of America currently taking pharmaceuticals would be the healthier half.
But, in fact, it’s the other way around: People who take pharmaceuticals remain unhealthy and really never get cured of anything. Meanwhile, those who avoid taking pharmaceuticals are, by and large, far healthier individuals.
When people are too sick…or too drugged…they tend not to focus on things going on around them that are not an essential part of their daily lives.
In this situation it becomes easier to manipulate them.
And this is exactly what’s happening in politics…people are being manipulated because they are too focused on the essentials of their daily lives.
Do you consider yourself a Republican or a Democrat?
Or are you one of the few―but growing―awakened Americans who realize that our country is not really a democracy at all?
It’s a Corporate Oligarchy, with the big corporations―the “Elite”―in charge.
Our democratic “elections” (and, most of all, the “Presidential Election”) are merely tools of social control.
They’re designed to provide the populace with meaningless participation in a process that validates an Elite establishment that never meaningfully changes; an Elite establishment that doesn’t have, nor cares to have, the consent of the governed.
The purpose and existence of the dual-party Democrat/Republican system is not to expand our choices and freedoms, and not to enhance our participation in government, but to limit these things.
The Democratic/Republican system is a hoax; it’s a manufactured narrative that makes it easier to convince people to follow the One Party Government created, run, and directed by the Elite 1% (i.e., the big corporations and their government appointees).
The widely perceived differences between the Democratic/Republican parties is just an illusion; the heart of the American government remains the same, no matter who’s in the White House, no matter which party controls Congress, and no matter what the people want.
Before elected, George W. Bush promised nonintervention and small government―but then waged a foreign policy of military intervention and a domestic policy of big borrowing and vast governmental control.
Before elected, Barack Obama campaigned as an antiwar, pro-civil liberties candidate―but then waged senseless wars while further limiting the rights and freedoms of American citizens, rights the Constitution is supposed to protect.
Very little difference exists between most Republican/Democratic candidates. It’s mostly a matter not of substance but style. And these stylistic differences are packaged as substantive ones to reinforce the illusion of a difference between Democrats and Republicans.
And guess what?
The unsuspecting American public falls for it―hook, line and sinker.
So how can we return to the America that our Founding Fathers envisioned?
By not participating, through a process known as “civil disobedience” you take away the impetus that fuels this hideous fraudulent and 100% tyrannical system.
“Civil disobedience is the active, professed refusal to obey certain laws, demands, or commands of a government, or of an occupying international power. Civil disobedience is sometimes, though not always, defined as being nonviolent resistance.”
The Elite 1% fear this; they fear a mass upheaval that’s centered around Americans refusing to vote.
They know that once Americans refuse to go to the polls the jig will be up, the cat will be out of the bag, the song will be over, the fat lady will be singing.
Hence the birth of organizations like “Rock The Vote” where celebrity spokespersons are used to encourage young people to participate in elections and vote:
Madonna appearing in an ad for Rock The Vote.
“Voting is implicitly a coercive act because it lends support to a compulsory government. Voting reinforces the legitimacy of the state because the participation of the voters makes it appear that they approve of their government.”
No matter who you vote for, you get the same corporate candidate.
“Those who refuse to vote are not expressing silence. They are screaming in the politician’s ear: ‘You do not represent me. This is not a process in which my voice matters. I do not believe you.'”
“I am convinced that those who get themselves involved in the machinery of power politics, even for the purpose of destroying it, are bound to fail in their purpose. To destroy it we have to stay out of it. If we want to cut down a tree, it is of no use to climb into its branches..”
Many Americans have understood this.
Yet most of their voices are never heard loud enough.
“To effectuate the suggested revolution all that is necessary is to stay away from the polls. Unlike other revolutions, it calls for no organization, no violence, no war fund, no leader to sell it out. In the quiet of his conscience each citizen pledges himself, to himself, not to give moral support to an unmoral institution, and on election day he remains at home.”
Of course, it’s hard to explain this to a populace under the influence of pharmaceutical drugs; a populace who are more concerned about getting money; and a populace whose minds and bodily health have been poisoned by toxic food, chemically-enhanced water, and over-processed food-stuffs.
And this is exactly what’s happened to Americans.
Let’s finish with the 7th and final form of control:
America’s food supply is semi-synthetic, genetically-engineered, nutrient-lacking, and over-processed.
As a result, the number of Americans developing chronic illnesses, heart disease, diabetes and cancer is on the rise.
Ironically, one of the worst diseases Americans suffer from is obesity.
We are overfed, yet malnourished―a sad paradox.
If you’re like most Americans, you have friends and family who are seriously ill right now.
And you have no idea why.
Most assume this sickness is normal. But it’s not.
The truth is that we are slowly being killed by the corporate Elite via the food they’re feeding us to eat and the beverages they’re giving us to drink.
This may sound outrageous to you; if it does, then it’s only because you’ve never heard of the dangers posed by aspartame, fluoride, genetically-modified food, pesticides, high fructose corn syrup, and the like―all of which are known to be hazardous by the big food corporations that produce them, and all of which you are consuming daily.
It’s estimated that approximately 70,000 chemicals are being used for commercial purposes; we are literally being endlessly bombarded with toxins.
Sometimes, these hazardous toxins are even listed on the food labels themselves. Like aspartame. It was once listed as a biochemical warfare agent by the Pentagon. But now it is in thousands of food products in our grocery stores.
Aspartame is said to have a long track record of causing adverse reactions, and yet the government says it’s safe to eat.
According to researchers and physicians studying the adverse effects of aspartame, the following chronic illnesses can be triggered or worsened by ingesting of aspartame:
- BRAIN TUMORS
- MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS
- CHRONIC FATIGUE SYNDROME
- PARKINSON’S DISEASE
- MENTAL RETARDATION
- BIRTH DEFECTS
Then there’s the toxic water we’re given to drink…
Know what’s in it?
If not, maybe you should investigate.
The water in and around the most popular American cities is littered with dangerous contaminants.
“Researchers from the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) found that an astounding one-third of U.S. water systems contain traces of at least 18 unregulated and potentially hazardous contaminants, many of which are linked to causing endocrine disruption and cancer.
Based on a nationwide survey of 25 unnamed water utilities, scientists found traces of the herbicide metolachlor, for instance, a pesticide commonly applied to conventional corn, soy, cotton, safflower, potato and other crops, as well as the heavy metal strontium, which is linked to causing bone problems. Other chemicals identified include so-called perfluorinated compounds like perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), which numerous scientific studies have found can cause thyroid disease and various types of cancer.”
We all remember Erin Brockovich. In a 2010 article in The Washington Post titled “Probable Carcinogen Hexavalent Chromium Found in Drinking Water of 31 U.S. Cities” by Lyndsey Layton, we’re told that the carcinogen that Brockovich was so concerned about has been found in the drinking water of most U.S. cities.
An environmental group that analyzed the drinking water in 35 cities across the United States, including Bethesda and Washington, found that most contained this carcinogen (called “hexavalent chromium”).
Not only is there hexavalent chromium in our drinking water, there are thousands of other chemicals and prescription drugs in our water supply as reported in the Time Magazine article “Flushed Away” by Jeffrey Kluger.
All told, there are about 3,000 prescription pharmaceuticals in use in the U.S. and thousands more over-the-counter drugs, not to mention creams and ointments we smear on and then shower off. “Between cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and other sources,” says John Spatz, commissioner of Chicago’s department of water management, “there are 80,000 potential combinations of chemicals.”
It’s impossible to keep our drinking supply safe from a gusher like that.
Enter fluoride, a toxin that is purposely being put into the water supplies of most U.S. cities.
Even small amounts of fluoride consumed from tap water can damage your body.
The Natural Health and Longevity Resource Center published this list of ten of the most significant health problems that scientific studies have shown that fluoride causes…
1. Fluoride exposure disrupts the synthesis of collagen and leads to the breakdown of collagen in bone, tendon, muscle, skin, cartilage, lungs, kidney and trachea.
2. Fluoride stimulates granule formation and oxygen consumption in white blood cells, but inhibits these processes when the white blood cell is challenged by a foreign agent in the blood.
3. Fluoride depletes the energy reserves and the ability of white blood cells to properly destroy foreign agents by the process of phagocytosis.
4. Fluoride confuses the immune system and causes it to attack the body’s own tissues, and increases the tumor growth rate in cancer prone individuals.
5. Fluoride inhibits antibody formation in the blood.
6. Fluoride depresses thyroid activity.
7. Fluorides have a disruptive effect on various tissues in the body.
8. Fluoride promotes development of bone cancer.
9. Fluorides cause premature aging of the human body.
10. Fluoride ingestion from mouth rinses and dentifrices in children is extremely hazardous to biological development, life span and general health.
Add to this the chemicals and toxins that Americans purchase on a daily basis in the form of sodas and sweetened drinks:
So how can you defend yourself against these toxic poisons that are being forced on you.
We’re exposed daily to dozens, if not hundreds, of chemicals, and the effects of some multiple exposures may be more than the sum of their parts, say experts.
Here are some basic things you can do to avoid toxins in your diet and your water:
- START YOUR OWN HOME GARDEN
- BUY ORGANIC FRUITS & VEGETABLES
- TEST YOUR DRINKING WATER
- CHOOSE A DRINKING WATER FILTER CERTIFIED BY THE WATER QUALITY ASSOCIATION OR NSF INTERNATIONAL
- EAT A BALANCED DIET OF FRUIT, VEGETABLES AND GRAINS
- DON’T EAT PROCESSED FOODS (POTATO CHIPS) AND DON’T DRINK SUGARY DRINKS (COLAS)
- MAKE THE BULK OF YOUR DIET MINIMALLY-PROCESSED FRESH FOODS (PROCESSING AND PACKAING IS UNNATURAL AND CAN INTRODUCE CONTAMINANTS)
- REMOVE YOUR SHOES WHEN YOU GET HOME―ASK GUESTS TO DO THE SAME (TO AVOID TRACKING IN GERMS)
- LIMIT LAWN CHEMICALS, INSECTICIDES, RODENTICIDES
- CHOOSE PERSONAL-CARE PRODUCTS (i.e., SHAMPOOS, LOTIONS) AND HOUSEHOLD CLEANERS FREE OF SYNTHETIC FRAGRANCE
- STORE AND REHEAT FOOD IN GLASS CONTAINERS (NOT PLASTIC)
- DRINK FROM REUSABLE WATER BOTTLES MADE OF GLASS (PLASTIC COULD CONTAIN HARMFUL CHEMICALS)
These are basic ideas; this is by no means an exhaustive list.
You should also try to immerse yourself in Nature as much as possible, and get plenty of exercise and keep your body strong and fit, the more healthy your mind will be.
Strong mind, strong body―this is essential in your fight against the powers that are exploiting and enslaving you.
Today we Americans (and most people in “advanced” and “civilized” countries in general) are being enslaved in a number of sinister ways by a world totalitarian government based on money.
But these ways are so subtle that most of us don’t recognize them.
We are being brainwashed, tricked, and made to suffer all for the benefit of a few wealthy families who own the biggest corporations and the world’s wealthiest governments.
America seems to be…to a large extent…the source of many of the problems.
The American government is in many ways a “puppet regime”―setup, funded, and exploited by the same criminal gangsters who own and control Wall Street and all the giant multinational corporations.
You know things are bad when a former Regan administration official, Paul Craig Roberts, breaks his silence and says the following:
“Americans need to understand that they have lost their country. The rest of the world needs to recognize that Washington is not merely the most complete police state since Stalinism, but also a threat to the entire world. The hubris and arrogance of Washington, combined with Washington’s huge supply of weapons of mass destruction, make Washington the greatest threat that has ever existed to all life on the planet. Washington is the enemy of all humanity.”
―Paul Craig Roberts, Assistant Secretary of the Treasury in the Reagan Administration
The most dastardly way in which you’ve been enslaved is through the robbing of your Will.
You don’t know who you are or why you’re here.
Your true Will (your true purpose in life, your happiness) has become a “dream” and you’ve become convinced that you should “forget that shit” and make money, because this is the only way to survive in this world and “that’s just the way things are.”
This article has been written to tell you that this is NONSENSE!!!
Awaken―if you haven’t done so already.
Awaken and recognize these seven major signs of (y)our enslavement, and realize that you can fight back and win.
We started this article by showing a video of a fictional dinner conversation from the movie My Dinner With Andre, wherein the question was asked:
Are we living under a “world totalitarian government based on money?”
The present article has pointed to some conclusive evidence that we are in fact not just “being influenced” but we are “being manipulated” and we’re “under control” in a number of ways; ways that few Americans (can) understand.
There’s still time for you to change your predicament, and there’s always hope.
Let’s conclude on a positive note, with a quote from the late Terence McKenna, who gives us the ultimate great advice to counter this control and try to remember who we are:
“We have to create culture, don’t watch TV, don’t read magazines, don’t even listen to NPR. Create your own roadshow. The nexus of space and time where you are now is the most immediate sector of your universe, and if you’re worrying about Michael Jackson or Bill Clinton or somebody else, then you are disempowered, you’re giving it all away to icons, icons which are maintained by an electronic media so that you want to dress like X or have lips like Y. This is shit-brained, this kind of thinking. That is all cultural diversion, and what is real is you and your friends and your associations, your highs, your orgasms, your hopes, your plans, your fears. And we are told ‘no’, we’re unimportant, we’re peripheral. ‘Get a degree, get a job, get a this, get a that.’ And then you’re a player, you don’t want to even play in that game. You want to reclaim your mind and get it out of the hands of the cultural engineers who want to turn you into a half-baked moron consuming all this trash that’s being manufactured out of the bones of a dying world.”
Fight the good fight.
Do what you feel is right.
Follow your Will.
Deep down inside, you know who you are. Remember who you are.
Follow your dreams, they know the way.
